Funds to Benefit Easter Seals Programs in Nebraska Easter Seals Nebraska's Wine Event, featuring nationally-renowned wineries, will be Saturday, February 27, at the Embassy Suites in La Vista. "We're very excited about showcasing this event in a new setting," says Easter Seals Nebraska (ESN) President and CEO Karen Carlson. Carlson says the organization's new Mobile Day Camp trailer will be on display, as well as guest speakers giving testimony to the help they have received from ESN. Easter Seals Nebraska is an organization dedicated to helping children and adults with disabilities have equal opportunities to live, learn, work and play in their communities. The organization's wine event is the largest fund-raiser of the year, and helps subsidize the costs of running Easter Seals Nebraska's programs and services. "This fun gala is our signature fundraiser which provides the financial resources needed to continue to deliver unique services to Nebraska families with disabilities," says Carlson. "We're so thankful that again this year, many loyal corporate and individual sponsors have committed their support to our mission, and we look forward to a terrific turnout. Winemakers from across the country will join some of Nebraska's finest to lend their expertise and contribute their fine wines to this event.
