In Their Own Words: "Once a Rocket, always a Rocket!" - Mrs. Nancy Marty
Worthy Recognition: "If you enter Nancy Marty's classroom on the night of Open House you will be asked to sign her guest book. There you will join an elite group of students and parents spanning more than 20 years, who have documented their participation in the "Rockets" classroom. Students, who once signed the book as emerging first graders, now sign as parents. Mrs. Marty refers to every student she ever served as a soaring rocket. She expects students and parents to aim high and blast past their potential. She simply will not settle for less.
Mrs. Marty's love of teaching is apparent when you step foot in her classroom, but what you will discover as you spend more time with her is the pride she has in her children and the passion she has for the job she does every day. She displays leadership among her colleagues, support for the families she works with, and commitment to each and every one of her students. I truly could not ask for a better to teacher to meet the needs of our Hartman 'Rockets.'" - Principal Shelly Burghardt
