Patient's Have Choices in 2010

Patients have always had choices about their healthcare, and now it has become more important than ever. There have been loss of jobs and loss of homes this past year making it difficult for people to make ends meet. However, there are still healthcare issues that need to be taken care of, and patients are starting to be more proactive in learning about their insurance coverage, what is covered, and knowing what share the patient's responsibility will be. It is the patients right to choose where they would like to have their diagnostic testing that offers the same quality care, but at a lower cost. We have plans to help patients that have no insurance coverage, as well as a three, six, or 12 month no interest payment plan through Care Credit to spread the payments out. At Village Pointe Imaging Center you will receive it all. The minute you step in the door, you will know you are in the right place. You will be greeted in a warm and friendly manner, asked to complete paperwork and while you are waiting you will be offered refreshments. We will have contacted your insurance company and verified all of your benefits so you will know exactly what the costs are, what insurance will be covering, as well as the portion you as the patient will be responsible for. We are less expensive than the hospital by about 50 percent, making that a difference in what your responsibility would be. You will be taken care of by our registered technicians in performing your procedure, and they will explain your exam and answer any questions you may have. Following the procedure the radiologist will interpret the procedure and dictate a report. The report will then be faxed to your doctor within 24 hours, sometimes less, so that your physician can continue with your care following the results.
